The Hammer's a in legend. lol people know him for going at Garnett/Barkley? He's a decent shooter, never played though. No idea who Andrew Gaze is.
Do you remember Shane Heal and Andrew Gaze that used to play for the Spurs a long time ago, but not for very long??, they are well known basketballers in the Australia..
If u can remember, how good were they? ?

Not terribly good . . . but well, they made it to the NBA.
andrew gaze played in 1998-99 winning the championship, but he didnt play much cuz of injuries and so fourth.
If Andrew Gaze's first year to the Spurs was a championship win, then maybe Spurs will win championship this year with Pattty Milllllss! Aussies give u good luck
Heal was a streak shooter and a hog (in the NBL anyway). Gaze was a good shooter - the Tigers ran backscreens for him for about 20 years. Could have been the slowest player in NBA history.
As I remember Gaze could shoot the ball. He just had a hard time getting open.
I also remember Gaze filling in as color TV announcer a couple of times, and his accent made somewhat difficult to understand. He was a average NBA player at best but never really had much of a chance to break into the lineup with the team the Spurs fielded at the time.
Shane heal, "the hammer" crofl
He was supposed to be a great shooter and I never remember him hitting a single three
Gazey?
Yeah, remember him.
Patty Mills? Who?
I figured he was some chain-clanging Aussie honkey white point guard.
Patty. Yes, white.
Mills. Yes, white.
But he don't look like some Aussie dingo white guy to me.
Is he aboriginal?
Maybe Patty Goolagong Mills?
WTF?
As long as he can play, I'm okay.
Not really good sportsmanship to take a three in the last minute of garbage time.
