Centre back and centre forward. I'm even satisfied completely at midfielder for the time being; a Fellaini is not needed (especially not for 27 millions pounds).
I think we need more at the wings. Sagna, Jenkinson, Gibbs and Monreal surely could use some help. Merteswagger, Koscielny and Verms in the middle is okay with me. We have some time.

Kroenke spends between 30 and 40 days in London on Arsenal business each year, is in daily contact with Wenger and the board - and his son Josh is also a huge Gooner.
Even when talk of the difficult transfer window crops up, Kroenke insists Wenger will be left in complete control.
“I really enjoy Arsene,” he said. “Very smart, very intelligent man, as we all know. He is fun to talk to about a variety of subjects. I think our backgrounds... He was trained in economics, my undergraduate study was in economics.
“I enjoy talking with him, he is a very interesting guy. He has an *absolute view on how he runs that team and the club. He has earned that right.
“Don’t look for me to interfere with that. I have learnt over the years that sometimes owners try do that and it is not so good.
“Guys who try to say that we should push Arsene harder to spend and so on, that’s fair enough, there’s always lots of opinions, but Arsene is an independent thinker, planner, works very hard at it, has a wonderful record and history.
“If you go to his practices - I had my son and a bunch of his friends at the training ground last year - a couple of them are NBA players and were over here with us for the *Olympics.
We were standing out in the rain, watching. Arsene is out there all the time. This was going on for several hours. It rained like . Lightning.
“I was getting worried about players getting hit by lightning and Arsene was out in the middle of it. He’s up there, coaching them every day.
“You’ve got to love that or you can’t do it. That’s a passion.”

Just looking over the schedule to finish up the year in all compe ions. Wow, there is a brutal stretch in there starting in late October and then November turns into a killer. Dat Chelsea, Liverpool, Dortmund, Man United stretch. Hopefully some more players return from injury, the current players holding up the fort remain in form and injury-free (plus get some rest here and there) while the players returning soon-ish get some burn to get in shape. As fun as this current stretch has been, I still remain cautiously optimistic and hope that some more players are brought in the January transfer window to strengthen up the squad.

Ronaldo, as an 18-year-old playing for Sporting Lisbon, eventually went on to sign for Manchester United, but in a do entary about the Portuguese attacker to be aired on ITV4 in the UK on Tuesday night, Wenger revealed just how close he came to signing for the Gunners."He was very close to coming here," Wenger said. "He has a number nine shirt with Ronaldo on the back from Arsenal Football Club.
"What happened was that Carlos Queiroz went to Manchester United and they snapped him away from us because he knew him from Sporting.
In other words, we had Cristiano Ronaldo but we jewed out as usual

Brutal 4th quarter of the year for Arsenal. But if guys like Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla and Podolski start coming back, then I believe that we will fare well. Ramsey and Giroud and Ozilla's signing changed the team's dynamic a lot. I'm now confident that we will do well given the schedule as compared to a year ago.
