McNabb's mama may have a point..

except for the whole, you know, winner Super Bowls thing...
    this.

i never had any clue what Aikman's stats were, but they're surprisingly pedestrian. McNabb actually dominates him him in Touchdowns, and TD-INT ratio. Even McNabb's biggest weakness, completion percentage, is about the same as Aikman. The two had about the same length career too

McNabb was always in a pass happy offense and Aikman had the best RB of all time carrying the workload so McNabb should have better numbers. He just never got them rangs and when he got there he pussied up. it could go either way.

Yeah, Aikman's regular season numbers were never special. If fantasy football was around in the 90s, he would never be a 1st or even 2nd round pick.

He's in because of playoff performances and Super Bowl rings.

McNabb was offensive player of the year in 2004, played in a Super Bowl and in 3 Nfc le games. He should get in too.

Of course, this might keep him out:

There's a lurking variable in those stats. Aikman had a better running game behind him (Smith - all time leader in rushing yards), so what makes him a legend is his role as a facilitator.

I'm aware of that. Still, McNabb trumped him with his TD-INT ratio and threw a lot less INT's in general. Not to mention he hardly ever had any good weapons around him with the exception of Westbrook, TO for one full season, and DeSean Jackson at the end of his career

The Walrus' offense with McRibb was pretty pass happy

I had Aikman on my fantasy team in 1993. He was not productive.

Damn the pre internet days. Probably was fun checking the paper on Monday to see how your team did.
