Well he is riding us all the way to the Finals then he has Miami. But, that was his preseason pick. I think deep down he knows we could beat that Miami team right now. He just wont change his preseason pick. He is absolutely right that the Spurs are playing better than anybody right now and it is all about keeping the momentum going in to the playoffs.

i think skip is the only one who even watches NBA games with any regularity. predator guy probably watches only highlights. nice cover to say he loves the cities but just hates the teams. just in case his no name rap act ever has to place a gig here.

but seriously, in that entire video, there was not ONE inaccuracy in skip's comments. whether its on first take, any sports show, or talking to any non-spurs fan, its the same answer. "well they were #1 last year and lost in the first round." this whole "last year" argument is completely bogus. by that logic, everyone should predict the mavs to win the championship because they won last year. this spurs team is very different than last year. green, splitter, diaw, jackson, leonard. it just so happens we balled in the regular season. that shouldn't be considered a bad thing

I agree. It is easy to say we are deeper this season, but if you look at each position and it's depth we really are. Every player from last year is just playing better this year, especially toward the end of the season. Just like Skip said "no team is playing better than the Spurs right now." Everything seems to be clicking, and there is no reason to believe it will stop barring an injury.

Overcoming a size disadvantage remains a potential problem, but it's not nearly the problem it was last year, especially when the Spurs entered the postseason playing their worst ball of the year.

All of them are ridiculously annoying. That was some of the worst basketball discussion I've ever seen on a "sports" network. Even if it's not about the Spurs, you can tell the blatant bias and removal of all fact based arguments. "Cute record". We get it, the Spurs don't act hood enough for you and you hate white guys from other countries. Why not just say that, because you obvisouly haven't watched any NBA basketball this year or last year for that matter.

I love the roll of the eyes when talking about a fractured elbow. No biggie.
