They were definitely beatable, definitely the easiest first round match-up in the west out of anyone giving up home court.
They played .500 ball towards the end of the season, Durant has led the nba in minutes, Westbrick was top 10 too, they were tired, their level of play as a whole actually decreased during the season.
But since Mavs let that one get away, who knows, Okc might actually pull it off. Hopefully whoever wins gives the Lakers a tough series but it doesn't really look like it'll be the case.
Actually I think the Mavs recover and go on to win in 7...OKC will get no presumption of championship hubris from Kool until they actually take it..

I know that a win is a win but couldn't you play devil's advocate for a minute? The Mavs are suppose to have no chance at all to win this series yet they only lose by 1 point to a team that has been picked by many experts to represent the West in the Finals. Isn't that more of a negative toward OKC than the Mavs? If the Mavs make a couple more free throws or get a stop, they win game. It was that close.
I think OKC fans need to simma down now and stop celebrating after winning game 1 of the 1st round. If you win the West this year, then yeah celebrate it. If not, just don't.
