Well I take the win for a 4-1 night in predictions but damn I don't know if that was the right call

If you're going to go cry for a rematch of a fight that you feel you OBVIOUSLY won, then you better come to win by something more than a decision.
That said, I'm really dissappointed in Bendo's performance, but to be the Champion you better BEAT the Champion.

Okay lets get into this..
First off i almost never stream anything these days but i am glad i found a good quality stream for this one..
Ben is a great fighter but he was not great tonight. He escaped with this one. Watching it live i thought Frankie did enough to win with his counters and a few TD's. Ben was not comfortable all night long. Frankie did a better job slipping his power shots and tagging him on the way in and Ben was waaaaaaaay more tentative than in fight 1.. Ben did land the harder shots as the compustrike showed but i thought Frankie beat him with aggression in a close fight. The SD did not shock me at all. Seen that in so many fights..
Frankie strikes are weak, judges could see they weren't doing to benson. Benson looks so much more powerful when his strikes land, close fight but I agree with the verdict.
Benson is one of those fighters with wrestling backgrounds that doesn't really go for TDs it seems, just for TD defense. And when he doesn't land a good landing shot to get on top for GnP, then he doesn't really do much.
I could see it this way.. Frankie does love his pitter patter.. Ben did not attack with confidence tonight like in fight 1. I thought he would be much better and really shine tonight..

Diaz is on a roll and Bendo/Diaz is a sick fight. Frankie is going to be forced to 145 now. I am sure Dana told him you lose and it's 145 as a condition for getting the rematch..
I can't wait to watch Henderson butt Diaz. Hard.

Frankie was the only fighter to get a knockdown this fight. Stunned Benson a time or two as well. Benson landed the harder leg kicks, but Edgar landed the harder punches by far.
I agree about 45. Like i said Ben is a great fighter but he was not great on this night. I do feel for Frankie.. He fought his ass off tonight and most MMA sites think he won.. Oh well...
I am guessing the 2 judges that had it for Ben gave him Rd 1, 4 and 5..
Ben was trying to land the harder shots but was much less effective this time..
