Better be sure with his choice of words. Jax might be the first one to pounce on him.
Somewhere during the 4,500-mile round trip, Utah coach Tyrone Corbin must hope to find a way to slow Spurs point guard Tony Parker, who torched the Jazz in Game 1. Stephen Jackson has one suggestion. Jazz point guard Devin Harris has another.
“Maybe give him a hard foul or two,” Harris told reporters in Utah on Monday.

premeditated, flagrant 3
resorting to cheap tactics to stop an opposing player indicates you have already lost that battle
you wouldn't think tony would be intimidated one bit...he's heard this before from the mavs
Does Devin know what happens when you mess with Captain Jack's teammates??
This thing was over the moment they beat Phoenix. Harris is going to get hurt. Let's hope Dejuan does the dirty work. We can't afford to lose anyone else.
They're not going to try and hurt him. That's the last thing in their mind right now -- to infuriate the Spurs
tbh what else can they do?!? parker owned them in every way and other than making him taste some wood they be fcked
Devin Harris, Steve Blake is on line 1:
Isn't that always the plan?
I agree 100%. See Denver Nuggets, Seattle Supersonics, Mavs.
Although the Mavs did end up winning the series they "threatened" tony, its bc the spurs sucked that year...not just tony.
The hard foul card is a final resort. If youre out of options already and hard fouls are your only saving grace aaaaannd its only been 1 game, well as the quoted poster said: youve lost the battle.
aaah
Juwan Howard going bananas on Derek Anderson
Good times
Not
Dear Jazz,
Prepare to get broomed.
Signed,
The Spurs
i say pop let jackson guard harris next game haha
I was going to say we could do the same to him to slow him down.
But I don't think we could slow him down anymore without him going backwards.
If I'm a Jazz fan, I wanna hear that, but more importantly, see that happen. Don't really have a problem with it.
But:
1.) It's stupid - you're askin the officials and League to look for somethin; and
2.) It's a sign of desperation.
Pendejo . . .

Yeah because in all his time in the NBA no one has tried to stop Tony from getting in the lane with hard fouls. SMH.
The surest sign that the Spurs are playing well at playoff time is some phony tough guy telling the media that someone needs to put a hard foul on Parker.
Players somehow think that doing that will win them games, but in the end it's just one of the many things that other teams have tried to resort to that has caused them to fall fast.
Far from tough.
Harris. If he or someone else does something then i hope they just get suspended. After Artest etc. the leage wont let things get out of hand, hopefully anyway.
Secondly, man i love Stephen Jackson on the Spurs. Tim Duncan is on record saying he's the best teammate you could hope for. Stephen Jackson was an amazing addition for the spurs.
Jackson has his teammates backs, always. He'll do anything to defend and stand up for our players. Heck, he'd even run into the stands and... well i wont go into that. The swagger and at ude is great for our team. Such a massive upgrade over Jefferson. Even if his numbers arent way better, he just brings some nastiness and fire to the team. Love Jackson to bits.
Let's hope we get through this series quickly and stay healthy (damn you tiago)
Harris is a pussy, he won't do it himself. Frankly, the only idiot on that team that could pull something like that is Raja Bell, and I would love if he sees the floor for even 10 mins. He's so done that not even Jazzfans want him out there.
I don't think hard fouls are smart anymore with the new at ude that the Spurs have been showing. They may not punch any players out but then will kick your ass on the scoreboard, just ask Steve Blake after trying to take out Ginobili.
sounds like blair has jazz ass to whip
hopefully sj does not do anything to get suspended...
