Let's be real it's true to some extend but our starting 5 is now pretty awesome, the addition of Diaw just made it so much more balanced.
PS : what a ing weirdo
Israel Gutierrez knows basketball
"depth doesn't translate into the playoffs"

Depth doesn't translate the same, but it's won more les in the last ten years than "superstars, plural".
that fool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd say he is 30% correct.I would say that there is a 30% chance that Spurs do not win it all this year.
Wasn't this posted already a week or two ago?
And like I said before, predicting that a certain NBA team will not win the championship that season is hardly a bold prediction. In any given NBA playoff tournament, 15 out of 16 teams will not win the championship.
Maybe not, but its what brung us this far with an excellent average point differential per game on scoring between us and our opponents.
It's true that a "moneyball" team has never won the le (to the best of my knowledge, though the Pistons come close), but there's a first time for everything. If any team can do it, it's this one.
When you slap the moneyball label on a team you're presuming that the team is nothing more than spare parts fitting nicely like pieces of a puzzle on the cheap. This Spurs team is not anything like that. There's Tim, Tony and Manu and great complimentary pieces both young and experienced. Fact is this team belongs to the Big Three, all possible HOF'ers.
Why are we talking about this again?
That's because there is usually a huge dropoff from the staters to the bench, not the case with maybe the deepest bench ever.
whether the spurs win it or not, wha has it goto do with him?
fkn wanker
I wouldn't put Parker as a surefire hall of fame player with just his resume as it stands now though it is likely....
Ginobli is in but as much for Olympics and Euroball as NBA accomplishments.
Parker is a top 5 MVP candidate, but not even a top 5 point guard in the playoffs, can you say contradiction?
BTW, look at the date of the video, April 29th, before the playoffs started.
Sees ESPN somwhere there, laughs and does not even bother to read. That is the BSPN network to me.
his fake Mexican ass
Yes someone already posted this video gay Latino village people reject and espn was needing another eeo hire.
Look at his predictions on the playoffs page. He's such a flier from the group. He thought Rubio should be the ROY. Dude is a (sorta) male version of Jemele Hill. Actually, Jemele is a male version of Jemele.
Although his comments have some surface level semblance of truth, it's obvious he has no idea, as he predicted the Spurs/Jazz to go 7 games. No one else predicted more than 6, some (like Wilbon and Thorpe) predicting a sweep.
He says Manu is underrated. He's a homer Latino.

yo' analysis, clown!
This.
This spurs team is extremely unique in the fact that its bench could start and achieve the same results or better than a full 1/2 of the nba teams.
That is literally unheard of.
So in other words he's really the female version of Jemele.
No one in the East will win it this year. After watching the Knicks beat the Heat today, it looked like the Heat could care less. The Spurs are at least playing with focus. I haven't seen Timmy play like this in a few years. And TP is crazy good. I would like to see a Celtics/Spurs Finals though. KG-vs-TD would be GREAT!
this numbnuts also predicted spurs-jazz series to go all 7 games
