Rodman started out as a small forward.
Nope. He had no skills for the position. He and Salley came on board in Detroit the same year as the backup PF and backup C. The SF was either Adrian Dantley or Mark Aguirre, his replacement.

Technically Green is not a rookie, but for all intensive purposes he is.

Green played a grand total of around 200 minutes in his first 2 years. That's the equivalent of about 6-7 games total. Blake Griffin as a rookie probably played more minutes in his preseason alone. And he was still considered a "rookie" in his 2nd year.

That's one advantage of a 10-man playoff rotation as opposed to 8: if 2 guys are having off nights, you can expect reasonable contributions from the other 8. With an 8-man rotation, you would either have to live with the poor play, run your other 6 into the ground/potential foul trouble, or count on non-rotation players.

    Wow. Seriously?

Reminds me of that famous Hendrix lyric:

'scuse me while I kiss this guy
