Just spoke to 3 sources in England—I'd lean slightly toward Dempsey joining Liverpool, but no guarantees at all at this point.
I trust Grant Wahl more than anyone but I agree I'd prefer him going to Tottenham.
I'd be happy with either for Clint, but would prefer Spurs.

Aston Villa has stepped in with 5 mil Pounds bid for Dempsey (which is more than what Liverpool were offering).
Liverpool was offering 4 mil Pounds and some players, but all those players declined to go to Fulham.
