He might be old, but he shows up in big games (technically played out of position this year 5 instead of the 4), moves well around the perimeter, sets screens, good jumper, and plays defense.
I'm not usually on board with these type of additions but KG is exactly what the Spurs need at this point in the career's of the big 3.

Signing Garnett would be awesome as he's probably the one of like five players in the entire league who could possibly make the Spurs an elite defensive team. On top of that, his offensive game fits right in.

A pipe dream worth dreaming. Stranger things have happened. I think if it were possible both he and Tim for the sake of an added ring and a chance to derail miami could play together. Time heals all wounds though Garnett really violated duncan and maybe this is the exception. The bigger question is what matters to Garnett at this point. If he desires one more ring SA reallistically is his safest bet. Ok back to reality...
