That's just sad that you have this amazing waterfall and people make it look like shit by shining colored lights on it, building a stupid ferris wheel and a bunch of fast food joints and crap near the falls. Yeah, I have been. I didn't like the area, though the Canadian side was better. All the development at Niagra Falls really turned me off. At least some of the great falls like Lower Falls in Yellowstone, Yosemite Falls and Nevada Falls in Yosemite, Havasu Falls near the Grand Canyon, etc. haven't been ruined like that.
How many Chinese/Japanese do we see on skid row/welfare office here in the USA? When do we see them panhandling, standing on the side of the road holding up a sign...will work for food...or rummaging thru our garbage cans?

TBH, I think the only thing I really liked about the US
was the national parks, especially Zion National park.
