I am a realist and I see that humans (of which I am one) are destroying everything because of greed. It is reality. It is not going to stop. We are going to continue to destroy each other because of greed. It is sad but it is not going to change and we are not going to suddenly stop being greedy. I was initially appalled by the cost of the project until I realized that if Curiosity finds water there then there's no reason to feel guilty about rounding up the poor and shooting them off to Mars. Gotta take the first steps first guys.

But still we stood.
