The odds of Duncan getting another ring in the next 3 years are slim however they are better than the odds of any team besides Miami and possibly OKC. Getting a ring is slim for any team even the teams in contention don't have great odds. The odds of Duncan getting a ring wearing a uniform besides a spurs uniform are next to none, unless he chooses to join a rec league after retiring. Hum yeah when it comes to that I think I'd want the old guy that looks like Tim Ducan at the Y on my team. Then again I'm in demand there as a tall guy at 6'3".

No. He's not a superstar anymore, and the only thing they have that's close to a superstar is a PG (lol). They're another year older and basically bringing the same team back that got backdoor swept last year.

Maybe they get a couple more deep playoff runs, but they don't have the bosses to bring home a LOB anymore.

    It's over.

The Spurs were only "one" player away from getting past the Thunder.

If Danny Green wasn't a born-scrub then I'd give the Spurs a chance. He showed his true colors in the WCF.

Are you saying Danny Green was the key to another ring?

Leonard is in the development stage of being an all-star.

Guaranteed. This season imho, but the team needs luck, because Miami can beat any team tbh.

Dirk will almost certainly retire with one ring. Duncan can possibly retire with 5 but it depends on many variables. Among these variables are:

Will Danny Green go back to playing like a starter? Will Leonard develop into an all star? Will Pop finally start playing Duncan and Splitter together effectively? Will Manu get injured? Will any stars in Miami get injured? Will Patrick Mills surprise everybody next season? Can the Spurs get a good big man for Blair and Neal? Can de Colo take off in the NBA?

It all depends but if these variables swing in the Spurs favor then they have a better shot than anyone else in the West right now.

Son, Duncan needs to come to Lob City and teach Griffin his ways, tbh... Griffin's athleticism plus a few elements of Duncan's classy fundamentals would be unstoppable, tbh....

If Danny Green wasn't a born-scrub then I'd give the Spurs a chance. He showed his true colors in the WCF.
I still can't believe that total scrub chose the Clippers to blow his career three-point shooting load on....

doubtful, the last two seasons were his best shots. I don't think they'll be a real threat in the West with the Thunder and the Lakers

By that same logic Duncan could go to any team in the NBA today.

Nope. The Spurs have no superstars unless Kawhi Leonard turns into the next LeBron or Durant overnight.

Also any team that has Bonner and Blair as backup power forwards isn't a contender.
