Next year's AS game will be pretty one sided with how deep the west is now.
Remember the 2010 playoffs, when 7 games separated 1st seed Lakers from 8th seed Thunder (four games fewer than what separated 2009 1st seed Lakers from 2nd seed Nuggets).
The playoff picture looked something like this:
LAL (57-25)
DAL (55-27)
PHO (54-28)
DEN (53-29) (3-1 vs UTA)
UTA (53-29) (1-3 vs DEN)
POR (50-32) (6-1 vs SA/OKC)
SAS (50-32) (3-4 vs POR/OKC)
OKC (50-32) (2-6 vs SA/POR)
A lot of teams got better or stayed good. The fight for the 6th/7th/8th seeds will be furious, between the Mavs, Grizz, and Wolves, with the Jazz and Warriors an outside chance.
Next year's AS game will be pretty one sided with how deep the west is now.
No team can have a lopsided game against Lebron James right not.
92 Jordan couldn't stop the West from ting on the east, this east is weaker. Lebron would need a 40/15/10 game to even the playing field.
The Lakers, Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, and even the Mavs will be in the fray. The Nuggets are going to be scrappy and a tough out for anyone in the West. Other than that, I'm not sure how it'll go beyond that.
There's a pretty big gap between the top 3 teams in the West and everyone else. It should be fun to watch the mid-tier teams fight it out, though.
The West will be infinitely more interesting to watch than the East. It's just Miami and everyone else in the East.
Mavs will be the 4th seed. Book it gots
We're booking Dwight joining Mavs next summer too, right?
Blazers are definitely the darkhorse. Definitely.
Where's the article?
so dark you can't even see them, they probably aren't even there. amiriteeverybody?
Dog fight for bottom feeders like the Spurs but the Lakers will dominate.
OKC/lakers gonna wrestle for the #1 seed if lakers can maintain good health, spurs and mavs 2nd tiers imho
You talking about the #1 pick? They're a goddamned lock son.
And why does Mr Olivia Wilde think anyone has a chance in a 7 game series against LA?
