A standard colour seems cool.
Looks doable -- thanks for rounding those up. (Damn, some soccer teams have some long and narrow logos, tbh.) Are these all the ones people will want or are there more?
As far as the background color for these logos, would you rather have:
1. A standard color (like grey or black or whatever). For example, the NBA Forum has the same background color for all logos.
2. A color that corresponds to each team.
3. The ability to select your color (not sure if possible but could be cool).
Why not let's keep our options open? Sticky this thread and we will use this as a bank of teams that will be included in the "My Team" selection. However, we should establish a rule that all requests should only be for TOP-FLIGHT or DIVISION I soccer teams only.
A white bg will do since most of these logos have white bg, so it doesn't look weird.
Colored usernames would be cool.
This would be too confusing, imo.
We also need additional moderators for the soccer forum.
I volunteer, give me the power to bully those s
I would like all the logos posted on this page under my avatar
Thanks
MLS logos are missing... some folks here might want them...
for example...
MannyIsGod --> LA Galaxy
Geeesh... with many options for people that follow multiple top-flight leagues it's a hard choice...
If I could I would take these two...
FC Barcelona
Manchester United FC
How the do you enable the skins (here and NFL forum)
EDIT: nvm, derp
Please don't change the colours of our names from the bkb ones. it's still a spurs board :P
Can someone upload Gallos de Queretaro's logo? I am not sure which european club bandwagon should i follow. i sure hate Real madrid...
Some of the other Liga MX teams:
Tigres de la U.A.N.L
F.C. León
Club Atlas
F.C. Atlante
Club Monarcas de Morelia
F.C. Querétaro
Deportivo Toluca F.C.
Club Santos Laguna
Club Pachuca
Club Necaxa
Club Monterrey
And last, but not least, the two biggest clubs in Mexican 1st Division:
Club Deportivo Guadalajara
Club América
You can also find many Soccer Club LOGOS on this website:
http://www.sportslogos.net/league.php?id=134
Bonus for Manny (most assuredly):
L.A. Galaxy
Sorry that they're not all the same size...
Everybody calm the down, the idea was to just post the ones we were gonna use (one for each poster, not two, you ing bandwogeners) so that timvp doesn't have to put on a lot of work. Most of the logos you're posting aren't going to be used so why the should he go through the trouble of doing those? Just post the name of the team you want and then we would try to find same size logos for those teams.
Option two like in the NFL forum would be ing! imho.
I realize your response is a facetious one, but an honest question ElNono... Other than the fact that the Argentinean NT has owned the Mexican NT in head-to-head matchups (over the past two decades), and the big "you all have the best player in the world" factor... Couldn't one make a valid argument that Mexican football currently has a brighter future than Argentina?
For one... they're following the Argentinean model by winning everything there is to be had in the youth ranks [U15, U17, U19, U20, U21 and even the Olympic U23 Tourney - granted they placed 3rd in the most recent U20 World Cup]
Two... they're exporting their players to the top flight European leagues in record numbers...
And finally... They have appropriate fear of all other teams but are no longer entering games against the world's best teams with a loser's mentality [they believe they can win any match].
meh... just figured I throw some perspective... they certainly will be under much pressure to go deep in the upcoming World Cup.
Phenomanul post the team you would like so I can add that team to the OP.
urunobili you too.
Settle down bro... Many of us have more than one team, not because we're "bandwaggoners" but because each league hosts their own independent tourney and most of us follow a team in the leagues we keep up with...
In my case, I follow F.C. Barcelona in La Liga, and Manchester United in the Premier League. You cheapen our following by suggesting we're just a bunch of bandwaggoners...
That said, I do understand the desire to minimize the work for timvp, but you would at least have to acknowledge that the very structure of World Football Leagues is what creates the multi-aficionado dynamic...
Question: Are the teams going to be listed in a drop down menu which would automatically set the LOGO under the username and the matching color scheme?
ummm....
ummm...
ummmmmmm.... [coin flip]
Manchester United it is...
Yes. At least that's how it is for the NFL teams (if drop down menu means what I think it means )
Venti Quattro can you post a River Plate logo with the required details?
CA River Plate
timvp, please put the teams + logos that I listed in the roster of choices in "My Team".
