So you can embellish the fact that there is a foul but not over embellish? Too much grey area there, sorry. Just call a technical when there is an obvious flop, forget about the fines and suspensions.

Yeah I think it's that they pretty much say embellishing a call is okay as long as it's not "over-embelished"
most of the calls went in favor of the home team so home court is going to play a major roll with the refs in how to handle the home court pressure
What is the actual penalty when they get flagged for flopping? I know after a certain amount it becomes suspensions, but is it just fines up til then? Technicals would be better and would still result in a suspension eventually

I think these new sets of rules will definitely help tone down the flopping during the regular season, but once the playoffs come around these guys will do whatever it takes to win, and that includes flopping. A few fines for a guy making $10 mill a year is nothing, especially if it means these flops will help them win a game or two.
