Like most people, nothing can beat San Andreas, for now...
The only game that was "similar" (it wasnt...but hey..) and that I enjoyed was Just Cause 2...HUGE map and lots of things to destroy.

Trevor just looks like some redneck tryhard so I'll avoid him but the country area looks fresh and I'm pretty sure he has planes available from the beginning so I'll try that

There's still nothing to suggest that they've done anything to address or change the problems I have with the series, so I'm not completely sold, but the ability to switch between characters at will both in and out of missions is very cool. Especially if, as implied in that video presentation, you can switch to a different character to avoid a lengthy and annoying police chase.
