But Marino is better looking than Eraserhead
So non issue
no reason they should be, Marino's numbers are still very, very impressive considering db's could cover receivers during his career. this is not intended as a slight against modern day qbs, they didn't change the rules.
Got to smoke a joint right after he tossed #420. Glad I got in on that, won't happen again for a few years. Brady's less than 100 away.
Do you guys think he can pass Favre though? Favre has 508 and going into Week 13, Manning has 425. That's 83 TDs away. Manning could realistically trim that to 75 with five games remaining this season. That puts him at needing to play three more seasons and toss 25 TDs in each one just to tie. What's more likely to happen is that he'll pass Favre for No. 1 overall in the middle of that third season.
Barring any physical setbacks Peyton should be a lock for it.
Tbh, if Marino was going to commit suicide, it would've been after Manning won the SB in 2006.
Regardless of what records are broken, no QB will ever equal the impact Marino made in '84. He was a phenomenon that season. He dominated that year the same way the Bears dominated the following season. Marino didn't just break records in '84, he annihilated them.
