    I use the same pic for both the lockscreen and the homescreen, simple The Frigetheners poster with inverted color because I like to have plenty of icons on the homescreen and anything but mostly black pics suck. Not sure how to capture the lockscreen but it's the same pic with the connect the dots.

    GS3 running Wanamlite 5.6 with Apex launcher, pretty boring stuff but whatever.

    I don't like so many icons on my homescreen. Clean = better for me. You can still move them into groups with custom icon packs, so that's what I do.

    you cant do it via the launcher.

    There is Holo Locker on the Play Store to get the "pure" Android lockscreen (Nexus)

    There are also some other popular lockscreens in the Play Store - check them out
