This is irritating. I guess as part of their power struggle issues they wanna release the reports on their own terms. At this point, the sooner the better for Mack. He is starting to come off as a stubborn, pouting, selfish, liar that'll do anything, and bring down anybody to obtain his job.

@BFeldmanCBS: Heard from two sources who said the chipBrownOB report about Mack Brown being out at #Texas will prove accurate.

@thatsean: Yes I can confirm what chipbrownOB reported that there will be a new head football coach at the University of Texas in 2014.

Guy has been flakey since day 1. Would not be surprised to see him flip if Mack stays or someone other than Saban gets hired, tbh.

The two JUCO DE's from New Mexico that Floss mentioned, Boateng and Ayeni, have both bee offered and will most likely visit next weekend, per 24/7.
Apparently none of them will visit this week anyway. Boateng will be at Arizona State instead. He will most likely shut down his commitment while being their, per 24/7.

Possibly something to keep an eye on if the Saban deal gets done.

As of about 10 minutes ago, Inside Texas is saying Mack has informed his position coaches he's stepping down. Will supposedly get $4 million up front and $1.3 million per year until 2020.

We could definitely use a JUCO Safety. Tells you about the state of the program considering we've had a history of great safeties.

With all this Saban talk, a lot of people wants him to bring most of his recruits from Alabama. Can he do that? Isn't there a rule that says a coach can only recruit players to his new school from the old school, if his new school has been in contact with the prospect before?

There's nothing illegal about that, but more of a gentleman's agreement not to do it.
