Thats good to see that he likes the hire because I have always been worried the most about him not honoring his commitment.
@DerickJRoberson
Coach Charlie Strong is pretty cool, should be fun
Thats good to see that he likes the hire because I have always been worried the most about him not honoring his commitment.
Update on 2015 WR Christian Kirk of Scottsdale, AZ (24/7):
“It’s a great hire,” said Kirk. “I like it and I'm very interested in Texas. It’s going to be a new spark to Texas that they really needed.”
“There’s a good chance I come visit this spring now,” he said. “I’ll be narrowing my list down toward the end of the summer so I want to come visit.”
Anyone remember CB Justin Thomas from West Orange-Stark in the class of 2012? According to 24/7, he's looking for a new home after completing his second year at Utah. He's reached out to several Texas schools, including UT. He'd have to sit out a year as a transfer, but he'd have two years of eligibility after that.
WR Roderick Bernard told 24/7 this morning that he'll be enrolling at UT on Friday.

Is James Franklin leaving? Well, his coordinators just started following Penn St. recruits on Twitter
Just a heads up that there is a rumor on OrangeBloods that CB Tony Brown is giving serious consideration to Texas right now.
Both Alabama and Texas sites trying to confirm if he left for Tuscaloosa yesterday.
That interview was so ing stupid, just him rambling about how he wanted to hire Gruden for ten minutes while displaying how far up his ass his head currently is.
It affirmed for many that Patterson is the right man for the job. Basically, he's cut off all contact from the BMD with regards to the head football coach. No more phone calls, no more representation as agents, no more poppy . If they want to say something, they'll ask Patterson first. Regardless of how Strong works out, that change between the money men who think they own the Athletic Department and the brass had to change for Texas to be successful.
There's no way. It's too late for Tony Brown.

Major recruiting update about to posted on Orangebloods. Boom.
??????
Ketch from OB is saying Tony isn't on the 'Bama campus and he is leading people to believe it's not too late.
I want to believe! But, it's Orangebloods, so he probably just fell asleep after banging some coeds and lost his phone.
Per 24/7, Bo Davis has accepted a position at USC.
As of about noon, Orangebloods saying Jeff "Mad Dog" Madden has been fired.
New S&C coach, Pat Moorer, arrives tomorrow and will do interviews for his staff. Offseason conditioning begins next week.
Quote from a person close to LB/S Edwin Freeman of Arlington Bowie (24/7):
“I think he’s really going to connect with (Charlie) Strong,” said the source. “I’m pretty sure they’ll wrap him up fairly quickly once they talk to him. At this point I would say he is Texas’ to lose. He’ll end up being a Longhorn.”
From what I've read the Aggies have a better chance at Alaka than Freeman. Would be surprised to land Freeman personally.
Alaka is going to Texas based on what I've read recently without a doubt. Freeman is still up for grabs.
I don't know about you guys but I think this is a smokescreen.. Saban is actually the new coach!
Per 24/7, they think the new offensive coordinator will be the same guy Strong had at Louisville, Shawn Watson.
