    Sounds like Strong needs to approve it and/or Johnson needs to make a trip to campus.

    Baby Shanny did well while he was in Houston. I really hated to see him go, as did many Texans fans. He moved up through the ranks quickly even though he was young. Houston had the #1 passing offense in the league under him in 2009 and Schaub had his best year as a QB...throwing for over 4700 yds. Hard to judge him by what happened in Washington...that whole thing was a disaster from the beginning because RGKnee is just not a good QB and Snyder was trying to build a team around him.

    He would be a fantastic hire.

    Speaking of Avery, I read on 24/7 yesterday that Texas will honor ATH Kevin Shorter's scholarshp but that the current medical staff will not clear him to play because of his spinal cord injury.
