Sumlin hasn't signed anything yet. He simply agreed to it.

I think people are talking about the Texans job not USC.

Ah. I thought some of these idiots might actually have believed that drivel article. Sumlin might go to the NFL, but I think he stays.
RUMOR
Inside Texas saying Applewhite has an offer on the table to join the Florida staff, but needs to decide by tomorrow because they want him to hit the recruiting trail as soon as possible.
Also from Inside Texas, there are rumors out there that LB Otaro Alaka of Cypress Falls has de-committed from Texas. Alaka has denied those rumors and says he's committed as long as there isn't significant change which would cause him to look at his options. A&M would be the favorite to steal him.
I'm sure most of you know this by now, but I hadn't seen it posted.
Texas is now looking at the Alamo Bowl against Oregon. Wonderful.

This report saying the Washington Redskins will pursue Briles if Shanahan is fired:

This I can agree with. I am with everyone that it's time for Mack to move on. What I don't understand is all the ultra negative comment about him. It's like everyone forgot where the program was at before he arrived. It's time for him to move on, but I wish him well and should be involved with the program in some capacity.
I was wondering if Texas would go after Shanahan should he come available. Of all the names to come up his is the most available.
no! Saban is ours.
I'll help him pack.
The two JUCO DE's from New Mexico that Floss mentioned, Boateng and Ayeni, have both bee offered and will most likely visit next weekend, per 24/7.
I hope they can sign both even if Reed decides to come back.
Texas vs. Oregon in the Alamo is official:

That's likely cause our chances with SOLOMON THOMAS are out the window.
Basically the worst possible match-up Texas could have hoped for. They could play at DKR and still lose by 35+.
That's been the case for the while.
I think only a guy like Saban could get him back for the good guys.
Any comments on Mack about the Alamo Bowl match-up? His career looks like it's about to be slam shut with a 50 point beating.
Mack is steeping down Tuesday.
I heard wednesday.
Can't delay it. His assistants are looking to jump ship Asap.
