We should have the International variant
that
Yeah Cricket....no idea wtf that was. There's like 9 S4 variants in North America
We should have the International variant
that

Just rooted my Nexus 7 , but didn't flash a custom ROM
I went instead with Xposed framework/modules; instead of flashing a custom ROM for just a couple features, I can add features/tweaks separately
Pretty badass
Xposed framework pretty sick tbh, can have custom settings for apps too
Should try Liquidsmooth or Mahdi Rom tho
nah im ok without roms tbh, stock is less buggy tbh
so far, so good with:
- Gravity Box
- Youtube Ad-Away
I'll break you down eventually
The only thing that will break me down is when my tablet will stop getting major OS updates. Then I will flash ported ROMS with the latest Android versions.

Dammnnn by geohot! Haven't kept track of him since his iOS jailbreak back in 2010
He is the one who made the jailbreak straight from the iPhone?

Good job. Here the key, you can find your balls stored in locker #3a.
Got a free S4 as a loyalty bonus from my carrier yesterday.
30 minutes in, I was getting irritated as with Touchwiz. Odin, Autoroot, CWR, slapped the GPE ROM on it in the span of 1 hour.
Now I like my newest phone.
I kept TouchWiz but I use Xposed Framework for the things I want to tweak
TW doesn't bother me, people are making a big deal about it tbh.
If I wanted stock Android I would have gotten a cheaper phone or a Nexus or a Moto.
What's thw point of getting a flagship phone woth great hardware if you slap stock Android
But in your case, you got if for free, so it's ok
Stock Android with its cleaner UI, better performance, and less internal memory consumed, on OEM flagship specs appeal to some people. Hence the GPE versions.
For all their good points, one thing Nexus phones have never claimed to have are the latest and best specs.
Meh, I've had only 1 or 2 minor lags since I got my S4
I use Nova Launcher anyway , and Sammy aps UI (dialer, etc) doesn't bother me since I dont spend 24 hours a day staring at them
And as for GPE editions ,it depends on the phone
The HTC One M8 GPE allows you to download HTC apps from the Play Store and has kept a few features from the original M8
But you don't have that with Sammy GPE
Never said that, but you still read comments from Nexus 5 owners saying "oh the camera quality is not that bad" or "good enough for me" just so they can feel better about their purchase
That's because Samsung, in its misbegotten drive to differentiate itself from Android, has kept all of its apps proprietary and away from the Play Store.
My primary phone is a Nexus 5, and the camera is no issue for me since I'm not a camera guy.
Outside of a Moto X (which won't work over here), it's just the best value available.
See? I was right
Nah, just kidding
The Moto is G is a good value too; specwise not as good as Moto X or Nexus 5, but still good, and a quad core for that price off contract ($179) .... pretty good deal imo
TBH, if the Moto X got released before I got my S4, I would probaby have gotten it tbh ... or not, since I need that extra storage
the LTE Moto G though. Moto should have made that compatible with global LTE bands.
Yeah I read that the other day
that tbh
But can custom ROM fix that ?
Rooting s what the best launcher to use?
What does a launcher have to do with rooting?
I've tried different launchers and I always go back to Nova
Buzz launcher is cool if you want to have those complicated and fancy homescreens (you can pick from a lot of cool homescreens made available by Buzz users)
