of Milwaukee Bucks made the Central division a better Division this season than the Midwest

Can you spot the weak link in the Central?

The easy answer would be the Bucks, who went 30-52 last season, but they've rapidly upgraded their roster.

this season, i think they're the best division.

    DEtroit

Indiana-J O'Neal the return of Artest, SJax
Chicago-6th MOY Gordon, Curry(?), Chandler, Nocioni

    Cleveland-LeBron, Z, Hughes

Milwaukee Bucks-Redd, 1st pick Bugot, TJ Ford, 2005 MIP Simmons

    meanwhile;

Midwest, the best division in 2004-05 season:

    Spurs-Champ; 2nd seed in playoffs
    Dallas-made 2005 playoffs
    Houston-made 2005 playoffs
    Memphis-made 2005 playoffs

Hornets-the ONLY team missing the 2005 playoffs, still next year's one of the weakest team.

..or do you think another division will emerge this yr. other than these two?

i can see that bec. there's the Spurs, our favorite team and i believe that Dallas, Houston, Memphis can still make the playoffs this year...

    but there's the Hornets...

and the Bucks are better than they are next season..

Uh, there isn't a Midwest division anymore.

The Spurs play in the Southwest Division.

Thank you, FWD. You beat me to the punch. Spurs have now won division les in every division they've been in: Central, Midwest, and Southwest. They've also made the Conference finals in both the East and the West.

Consider the one in which atleast 4 of the teams make the playoffs.

The 4 teams in the midwest are garunsheed 50wins, if they play in the east that is a top2 seeding. Now most of the teams in the east struggle to win 50 games..

It it yet to be proven but I'd give the edge to the Central.
BTW, you left Kirk Hinrich (team leader in assists, steals and second leading scorer) off the Chicago roster.

Let's compare the Central and Midwest in 2004-2005:

    Central:

Detroit Pistons -- Eastern Conference Champions
    Chicago Bulls -- #4 seed
Indiana Pacers -- #6 seed, conference semifinalist
Cleveland Cavaliers -- bright future with LeBron James
    Milwaukee Bucks -- crap

    Midwest:

This division has no teams because it no longer exists

    Hands down, Central wins.

Also, I applaud a lot of the Spurs fans in this thread for following the team so closely that they don't even know in which division the team plays. That's not bandwagon-esque at all.
