When anyone suggests that the San Antonio Spurs had a chance to win Game 6 when ahead by 12 late 3rd, ahead 10 entering the 4th and up by 5 points for the sure win with 28 seconds to go....shoot even with 6 seconds to go up 3. Not with Greg Pop at the helm. Not only 2013 but other years.

Standard comeback line from Polly Anna Popper and Pop Sniffer is
"4 rings"
Or if they really think they are being snappy,
"4 rings got".

Whichever the response, it is in their mind a rebuttal. As if it satisfies any and all. As if it negates the blown opportunities.

Well, how would it play out if it was tried in other real life relationships.
Lets say you're a salesperson and your boss notes that your sales have been off for months, perhaps even years.
"4 sales in 2007"
"4 sales got".

Or even your romantic life.
"Honey, i thought we were going to, you know this weekend?"
"4 times in 2007"
"4 times got"

Or a laborer worker.
Construction boss: "I'm going to need you to move those 2 X 4s Spursie.":
"Moved 4 of them yesterday"
"Moved 4 of them yesterday, got"

You're tending bar at an upscale joint. Customer asks:
Set me and my group up with 4 shots of tequila please.
"Gave you 4 last week. Not gonna do it"
"Gave you 4 last week got"

Reasonable people know how the outcomes of these would go.
For Spurwatcher seeking a 5th legit Championship, Peter Holt and ownership, and unfortunately Tim Duncar himself are going to continue to tolerate blown ops to infinity and beyond with Poppy. A 5th was wasted this year, and many other years.

How about your situation? If you tried living off past perfomance like Greg Pop, would you be just fine n dandy with your boss/spouse/investment group?
