I'm more excited for Ant-Man than I am for any other Marvel movie, and it's solely because Edgar Wright. The man can do no wrong.
I was excited until I saw May 2014. Nothing nearly 2 yrs away could keep my interest
I don't know much about him tbh, but a friend called him the Aquaman of the marvel universe - if that's the case, seems kinda lame tbh.
I would say that's way off.
In an exclusive interview with io9, Whedon said you can absolutely have Ultron without Hank Pym. He said:
We don't have to have him. It works very simply — this is Marvel cinema, not Marvel comics. One thing [Marvel Studios head] Kevin Feige has a genius for is knowing what to hold onto and what to let go of. You can invoke the feeling you had and play with the characters you love and remain true to the needs of the film.
I asked how this will change Ultron's origin story, as a kind of offspring of the Avengers themselves. Whedon smiled and replied:
You'll have to wait and and see, but you don't need a Pym to create an Ultron.

According to my sources, Saoirse Ronan has passed on the role of Wanda Maximoff, The Scarlet Witch, in The Avengers: Age of Ultron despite being, at some point or another, Joss Whedon‘s top pick for the role.
Unfazed, however, Whedon and Marvel then moved their attentions on to Elizabeth Olsen.

I would say good for her too if we weren't talking about a HIGHLY anticipated sequel for a really good movie and another Tolkien adaptation from a 3x Oscar winning director (6 more noms)
They don't need some munters to contrast with the beauty of my goddess imho. They can get the finest es they can possibly find and put them in the next avengers movie, and my goddess will still overshadow them all completely. Even the finest you can ever imagine would still look like a munter compared to my goddess, tbh.

The next avengers movie will turn out to be an epic fail, I fathom, though I hope they'll prove me wrong. fact is the more stars they involve in this film the less of attention each star will receive, and it doesn't make no sense to me why they've decided to recruit that "scarlet witch" and "kickass" in the new Avengers film, neither of whom had made even a cameo appearance in any single film of this franchise. I think they should've introduced the new characters in the prequels (like CA2 and Thor2), as they did "Black widow" in IronMan2 and Hawkeye in Thor, rather than implant them in the Avengers film right away
ANd he is playing the Destroyer
- A2 is gonna be awesome because Ultron is an awesome villain
- They will probably introduce the new characters, or mention them in one of the upcming movies; plus, Whdron said that Agent of SHIELDS will have some elements leading up to the next movies
