Losing in the finals to the Heat > getting your ass pummeled by the Clips in record fashion.

Someone's just a little salty that Duncan actually has a real chance at 5, tbh.....he thought he could coast his way to 5>4, and Duncan is just itching to leave his in the dirt......its fun watching the old jew sweat.....

Eh, I don't think that ultimately Jimmy is a huge problem or anything. Mitch is too good of a GM to let him screw things up that much.

The Kobe deal was likely unavoidable, they absolutely had to sign him to get him to retire a Laker. He's contributed as a top two option in 5 les. Most teams are never going to even come close to sniffing that. He makes/made too much money for you to not give him whatever he wants. He wanted 48 mil. You gotta deal with it. Keep the cash cow well fed.

The 2012-13 Lakers ended up being a big flop, but it was worth the gamble to assemble the team. They weren't winning period with the core they had before, and they also weren't getting any lottery picks. Accepting another second round loss would have been an even stupider move. The lost picks aren't that big of a deal, it's not like they've drafted anyone worth a damn since Bynum in the lotto 9 years ago. Losing Dwight sucked, but I think ultimately Kobe drove him off anyway.

Pringles ain't a bad coach either. He was a hipcheck away from a championship and turned Steve Nash into a two time MVP. If he's got a roster that fits his system and he doesn't have to bend over backwards to suck off guys like Melo/Kobe, he'll do just fine.

I ain't buying Karl, and Scott and Adelman and what's his face, the one that Jackson insisted on backpacking in with him.

& you have some ing nerve calling out any coach after what your coach did last June. Christ, he gave an NBA le away. Just because we're the only ones that cite it don't mean it didn't happen.

    The in' nerve.

    Tbh, I coined it

Nothing worse than Fredo Corleone running a business. Jimmy just happens to be real life proof. Jerry (Vito) died, and instead of getting Michael, lakerfan got Fredo. And deserve nothing less.
Tbh I've been calling him that since 07

I know it's funny to pin everything on "fredo" but the truth is Phil, Jeanie, Buss Sr. and Mitch Sr., Kobe, Dwight and Pau's decline all have a hand in the Lakers current mess.

I would think it be better for Lakers haters to have more than one person to finger. Meaning even if Fredo stepped down it doesnt magically make the LAkers FO, back in a prime position. I think Mitch has been solid ...but he took some gambles that crapped out. I think Dr. Buss's failing health were the impetus of those gambles, but he is the GM. The onus is on him to right the ship.
