how about win that elusive superbowl
its a judgement call. if the ball is deemed uncatchable, no flag
how about win that elusive superbowl
Okay on second look, that was a PI.
Pats actually got the short end of the stick this time. , amazing, thought it was never possible.
ah ok, thanks
hard to win a superbowl in november
I was so close to having the call of the year. It just came to me as I was sitting here. A bolt of lighting. Directly to my brain.
If Luck played the same game as Cam did today there would be a semen cloud about him on this forum tbh
An uncatchable ball is a ball thrown way over a receiver's head or far to the side, etc..
That ball wasn't uncatchable, it would have taken Gronk like 2 steps to reach it..even if it was a bad throw, you can't just hold the receiver back and prevent him from making the play..
The thing is when a player is offside on soccer that player always is unintentionaly offside. When a player interfers a rival on the NFL it's always on porpuse so that guy should be called for trying to cheat no matter how far away the ball ends up going, imho.

gronk couldn't and wouldn't catch that horrible ass pass. it was a INT the whole way, get over it!!! lol. it was just another attempt by the pats to force the refs to bail him out. thankfully, one of the refs said enough was enough and said pick that flag up.
win without the refs i was ready to give Cam his props but then the Arefmative Action happened
you know what i meant
yeah its a tough judgement call, and if the game was in Foxborough they wouldn't have picked the flag back up. was just explaining the rationale behind the no call.
you know what i meant too
Gotta hand it to , he finally stepped up against a good team when it counts, tbh.... loved seeing Brady get picked off to end the game
exactly, if an INT just cancels out PI, then whenever a QB throws into double coverage then one guy could take out the receiver and the other guy pick it off.
it doesn't cancel
if that happened they would award the PI penalty at the spot and the INT wouldn't count
lol not tonight apparently
there was no PI called tonight so obviously the scenario does not apply
the refs made a judgement call. you could definitely argue it was a botch, but they didn't deny the foul, they just deemed it uncatchable regardless of the foul. whether they were right or wrong is a different story
