let me remind you my old friend...Obama's idea was in part nothing but re-package republican ideas that they advocated for years...Mitt Romney even ins uted it in NH...as soon as the Black Man decided it would work for the country you Republicans abandoned your own ideas...and replaced them with death panels and Marxism...all because someone with a heart (who just happened to be black) decided to finally do something about it...
I know a lady about your age...mid 50's...needs insurance real bad...but refuses to sign up for Obama care...she's really in a bad way but instead of getting the care she needs she want's to go to the emergency room like all the illegal aliens and not pay her bills...becoming a burden on our healthcare system and yet she complains about Obama care because it doesn't fit her ideology.

I guess that if you indeed have some serious flu like swine flu or H5N1, you'd die sooner in a hospital than in your home because the butchers in white would isolate you inside an enclosed room with others who're also infected, cutting off your food & oxygen supply leaving you out in there dying. Obamacare as implemented was intended to be a huge failure from the start. It was designed to break the back of employer provided health care while not providing an affordable alternative because of the "minimum requirements" that plans had to meet. The grand scheme is to up the health care system so bad that people accept single payer as the only fix for the ed up Obamacare system..

With a 28% cost increase this year staring me in the face I now have to reconsider. That's a real number I got from my insurance carrier, not something I saw on "Fox News" you ing idiot.
The law counted on young healthy working people overpaying (paying more in premiums than they received in services) to pay for the "new" poor uninsured and sick old people that they knew would flock to "free" insurance.
The whole plan defied logic. Why would a young healthy 25 year old pay $500 a month for insurance they didn't use when they KNEW that they could go without coverage and if they wrecked their motorcycle or got cancer they could buy insurance THEN because the insurers were forced to cover pre-existing conditions?

Obama care is indeed built on the assumption that healthy people will have an incentive to come into the healthcare system.... We don't really know if that's going to work yet....but it is a social responsibility more than anything...there are a lot of young people spreading the word on the federal subsidies they would receive if they bought health insurance through Obama's marketplace....bottom line is this when more and more people realize they need insurance they will see that Obama care is affordable enough...just like the Social Security program of the 50's it took awhile for it to catch on but now it works great...and the end of the day Single Payer is the way to go..Obama didn't go far enough

Medicine is for the weak unless you truly need it. Getting over it yourself boosts your immune system dummy, hence why I forgot how it even felt to be sick. I was 15 or so the last time I got sick before this one.
If someone already has the flu, what good will going to the doctor have? If someone doesn't have insurance and could not afford $35 to go get a flu shot (but could afford rims, tires, sound systems, new iPhones, new 60 inchers), then they assumed the risk. No blame on any one or en y but themselves.
