new video add.
This is a new guy here in Brazil, he just get started playing with professionals last year.
We think he can be a nice player in a couple years.
looks like Kevin Durant, the body, and the game, he can shot from long distance.
he was MVP of young players of latin americas tournament.

new video add.
Is he comparable to the Greek Freak?
So, there are reports that he put his name on this years Draft.
I would be really surprised if he didn't withdrawal it though.
I've seen him in action a couple of times this year, he's very raw but very athletic and can shoot the 3-pointer and I never heard anything about his at ude being bad as others young brazilian prospects (namely Lucas Nogueira).
Hey Mayhem...Is he a good defender/foot speed/shot blocker?
The wingspan can't possibly be correct. 2.32m is around 7' 7"... WTH????
its official. Hes an early entrant.
Hes also not in the top 100 so he could be a 2nd round pick.
He has all the tools to be a good defensive player, IMO. But he's still very raw in that area (He has only 5 years of basketball).
But the pontential is there. Huge wingspan, he hasn't seemed slow-footed to me (although he hasn't really faced great compe ion yet).
His shot-blocking seems to be his best defensive asset.
He had 0.88 blocks while playing only around 13 minutes against the Pros. When he was given playing time he had games with 5 and 3 blocks.
While facing younger compe ion (in an under 22 championship) he averaged 2.4 blocks in 31 games.
In this video you can see some of his blocking shoting abilities playing against professionals:
^
nice point
yes, he's raw because of his age, here in Brazil young players take more time to be ready to play with professionals, its not like USA that have 15 old players with excellent technique. USA basketball is comparable to brazilian soccer when we talk about young players development. But with our basketball its not the same, our basketball its weak at this point.

yes he has 2,30 or 2,32 wingspan, around 7'7", we don't know exactly, this numbers we found in brazilian league website...
look the first 3 videos... in last dunk he did only 3 steps until 3 point line to the rim... We can see a lot of potential here.
look this another video in fiba americas young players game (basketball without borders), he was the MVP:

Kevin Durant = 2,24 wingspan
Bruno Caboclo = 2,30 or 2,32 (he have this two different information on brazilian websites)

Do know he needs to fix his three point shooting cause the way he shots his will get blocked all day. Just curious who has more potential the Iglish kid or this guy?
Inglis is rated right now in the top 40 or maybe 50 players. This kid is off the radar, out of the top 100, so Inglis is a better prospect right now.
Caboclo will stay in draft... Spurs should draft him on second round, would be a great steal from SA. Of course he is raw but a great potential and I think Greg Popovich can develop him.
other interesting guy for second round is Lucas Mariano (I made the topic about him but I dont know why they dont accepted here).
he made 13 points and 4 rebounds per game here in Brazil, he's 20 years old (from 1993), PF. I think he looks like Boris Diaw but not with same ball handling.
Well, that was unexpected...
In April his agent said Bruno wasn't going to stay in this draft...
http://www.lancenet.com.br/minuto/ex...128487327.html (In portuguese)
"Bruno and I talked and decided to enter the Draft. We'll evaluate what will happen. He suffered many injuries this year and lost a bit of exposure he had. We want to recover it, we want people to know him more. But the project is he going to NBA only next year's draft. He needs to gain more experience."
Somewhere in the last three months they changed their mind and he is staying in the draft.
Anyway, Here's some information I read in Brazilian media.
He's working with Alex Saratsis. Same agent of the Greek Freak and Dennis Schroeder.
There is a rumor (and it's really just a rumor... nothing comfirmed) that he could have a promise to be drafted in the end of the second round by an eastern team.
If it's an eastern team, it has to be Indiana or Miami. The other teams had such bad records they aren't at the end of the round. That would sound like a Pritchard move.
Raptors have the #59 pick.
So, Pacers Heat and Raptors are the most likely ones.
Although it's just a rumor.
Second round picks generally don't work, so why don't take this guy, physical freak, you don't see too much physical kids like this in the world.
and most important, humble, simple kid. Good head.
Lucas Mariano is another good guy who works hard every day, but brazilian basketball not offer the best support for his development.
The reason your other thread didn't get posted is because Bruno was the mod in charge of this forum and had to approve all new threads first. But he has disappeared from the forum and now no new threads can get made
Thanks.
drafted by the raptors..
i told you guys... ahhahaha
i didn't do any homework at all on this player. but i think he seems very greak freakish.
raptors is crazy, could take him on late second round.
but we need to recognize, physically a beast!
Fun fact: Former Raptors draftee (and bust) Rafael Araujo and Bruno were teammates last season.
Apparently Raptors promised to pick him at 37, that was the reason he didn't workout with any team, but were afraid he wouldn't be available there.
You should be bolded for predicting that he'd be drafted tbh
