LDN
NBA...where LDN happens.
25 points in the 2nd half, including 3 go-ahead 3s in the final minutes of the 4th..
His offense will get the credit, but he completely eliminated Mike Conley from the game in the 4th/OT, as well, and added 5 blocks, 2 steals and 7 rebounds..
Easily one of the 3 best role players in the league, tbh, hopefully other contenders won't have cap space in the off-season..
i think detroit will make a strong push for him, he is perfect for their scheme. I mean, they are paying Meeks 6.5
He blocked Z-Bo at critical times, including in the post. It's just been an unreal season for him. Contract-year Danny is something to behold.
He's probably the best role player in the NBA, at this point, tbh..
It's funny how playing for the Spurs limits your level of hype..Draymond Green, another great role player, is getting a ton of hype for playing a similar role to Danny, but the difference being that he plays for the most beloved team in the NBA..
Danny is having a tremendous season, tbh... if he would be any more complete on ball-handling, etc, he would probably be superstar material...
top 15 player tbh. Gladly, his greatness has expanded in the next dimension, so people don't really get to understand it.
Would be a travesty if he doesn't make a defensive team this year.
Great take.
I even saw this driving in this year. Two years ago every time he dribbled I would close my eyes.
Damn, Zach Lowe may have forced the front office to cough up a few extra mil after that tweet, tbh..
46th overall pick. Spurs ting on league. Pop is the best coach ever.
Danny Green is easily my 2nd/3rd favorite player on the team. He is so damn underrated by the casual Spurs/NBA fan it's crazy. The casual fan can probably tell you "Oh yeah that guy who hits threes. When really, it's his defense that i appreciate the most. Him and Kawhi on the perimeter are the perfect combo. Curry and Thompson want none of them in the Playoffs...
He's actually starting to get a lot of recognition, even with non-Spurs fans, tbh..it's pretty strange, considering the Spurs generally don't get much publicity..
Van Gundy was calling him one of the most underrated players in the league on the national telecast a few weeks ago IIRC..Zach Lowe and Simmons have discussed him several times, too, especially the former..
Nice . I did not know this, but I will say it's very well deserved...
Damn, we are gonna be able to bring him back, right guys?
