He can't dribble a basketball, but he's such a ing long- , tbh, massive balls..
2nd best perimeter defender on the team, good rebounder, hustles for the loose balls, shows passion/leadership..when he's making the 3-ball, he's a monster, tbh..

There's nothing about Green that says leadership tbh.
One of the most underrated players on the team.
Patty Mills was also huge tonight.
sux cox and soft as , like tiago
yet you have 100 s on the site starting a Trade Danny thread when he misses a couple shots in Nov/December tbh.
He's almost looking like how he was last season. Small sample size, but he looks better now than he did to start the year.
huge props.
the difference on D is very noticeable. and I used to about him jumping at every 3 point attempt but perhaps I was wrong on the reasoning for that.
i'm fine with him not being able to dribble or finish a layup to save his life tbh. He wouldn't be a Spur if he could do either tbh.
He's actually a pretty big leader, especially when the Big Three are out. He runs the perimeter rotation and defense. He has awesome intangibles.
Acting like Pop didn't bench him...
The true joke is how bad Beli is while every popsucker said he was gonna be a huge upgrade because he played for Thibs :
Also, he pretty much destroyed Wall one-on-one. Had Leonard been in to guard Ariza, Wall would not have been able to get those easy buckets at the end of the first OT.
Marco and Mills are garbage, these are things we know. The overrating of these scrubs is laughable.
He's Pop towel boy like TP was back in the day, sorry but just saying hes a big leader doesn't make it a reality. He's a good player but certainly not a leader.
hater..
Finally, it seems like POP will be playing Green more than Belli..
I can put to rest my "agenda".
Being a towel boy doesn't prevent one from being a leader. Pop yells at him a lot, but he also talks to him a lot. He seems to trust him a lot. The other players outside of Parker seem to as well.
Great thread. The guy is seriously under-appreciated by Spurs fans on this board. He's one of my favorite Spurs, he brings all the little intangibles to a game that don't show up in the box score...
Danny Green is the man. I can't believe after his playoff defense/finals performance/clutch shots (Such as today) people still have the audacity to call him an "average" player with "average" defense and "average" shooting. He would be a Top-10 SG if he could dribble/hit a layup....... But that's never gonna happen.
Reminds me of last season when spurs were playing in Utah and Green was sagging off Mo giving him room to shoot over him but tonight he actually put pressure on wall in the final seconds of the 4th quarter.
I remember the OP use to hate Danny Green, tbh. Times have changed.
To be fair, I don't think Danny could play this well in another system. He's a product of the system but individually he's improved in every aspect not called dribbling. His defense against Wall at the end of regulation was ing stout.
