Probably won't.. Harden is easily the most annoying player in the game. He is worse than Durant.
having your starters play 45 mins when our bench played the entire second half
and barely winning
size wise that works, but Leonard would certainly bother Harden more. its not like Harden is lightning quick. Green would be fine on Parsons. he'd give up size, but its not like Parsons is gna be abusing Green...
Kawhi can't guard Harden, tbh, he has looked pretty bad against him when they've been matched up..
Green does a great job on Harden, though, but can't guard Parsons's size..
Pop's strategy of Leonard against Harden earlier in the season backfired, as Houston's wings overwhelmed the Spurs' guards on defense due to size(even including their ty players like Garcia and Casspi)..
Really? I thought he did a pretty decent job on him in the first match. Of course Leonard got in foul trouble but that's pretty much a given when anyone plays Durant or Harden.
Green does a decent job but he bites far too often. It's borderline ridiculous.
Harden is perfectly capable of doing that himself when he chucks the Rockets out of a playoff series
No one can really stop Harden, just slow him down.
Tbh, our cast of characters did a pretty good job on him tonight. Well, that's until Cory Joseph came on and scrubbed it up, but that was to be expected, tbh..... The Administrators may be a fan of Cojo, but he clearly isn't going anywhere.
But Dwight took us to the woodshed, tbh... Not good.
The Rockets made SA their in the regular season. Does not mean too much, you still have to do it in the postseason. I like our chances.
The Rockets still have McHale as head coach. Pipe down.
Rockets have McHale as the head coach. Pipe getting loaded again.
Says the guy who's a fan of a team just dying to fire fat ass scrub-coach, Mark Jax

You are not going to shut down Harden at this point, at best you can contain him. Kawhi has not been that great guarding smaller, quicker guards. Green is far better suited to do so. Leonard can shut down Parsons though, and by guarding him he would also be more free to roam the passing lanes and disrupt Houston's offense.
I agree. Leonard should be on Parsons just like he was on Thompson last playoff & Green on Harden just like he was on Curry, it proved to be the far more effective strategy. I'm sure that could disrupt Terrence Jones play to a degree as Parsons feeds him a lot of easy baskets. If Jones & Parsons play well, that potential series is lost.
Leonard on Parsons, Green on Harden. Also, am I the only one who was happy with how CoJo defended Harden tonight? He could be an option as well (for spot minutes).
howard hit quite a few he usually misses. And if he gets hot we will double sooner which he does not handle well.
Harden had like 18 points in the 4th Q on leonard during our first matchup with them . At this point, you only try and slow him down.
Kevin Mchale has got to be one of the more self-imploding coaches in this league
