Nick Who? When I read it, I was like "Why is MLS stuff on the Spurs board?"

Then I googled a picture of him and now I'm like: "What, Dawson is playing NBA ball right now?"

Calathes is an awful player, tbh, he would have been eaten alive by OKC's backcourt..

Have we really reached the point of fearing the Thunder so much that we're outraged over a suspension of a bench scrub that would have had virtually no impact on the series?..
It's not about fearing the Thunder so much as it is wanting them to have to fight through a difficult road that could wear them down some. You have to think Indiana took a bit out of Miami with that 7 game series while the Spurs rolled into the Finals rested and healthy off an easy sweep. When the Spurs and Thunder are pretty evenly matched, whichever team had more rest coming into the series could be just enough of an advantage. Think of the Lakers and Celtics in the 80s. Boston had brutal roads through their conference with Philly, Detroit, Milwaukee while LA could just plow through the soft west every year. You have LA and Boston switch conferences and maybe it's Bird 5, Magic 3.

Sure, but some scrub isn't going to alter the outcome of the series..

If it was Mike Miller or Tony Allen, sure, we could cry about it..

very true if the NBA had some arterial motive they could have aimed a bit higher on Memphis' bench.
