It's just unfortunate I lost a bit on emotional hedging last year. An example, had the Thunder 30 to 1 to win finals when memphis was up 3-2. and then i added more on thunder when spurs and okc met up .

I took OKC to beat the Spurs when the series was 0-2 once I heard Ibaka was out, value was too good + fan insurance..worth the loss..

Playoffs is the best time to bet. Nobody's coasting because nobody wants to go home for the summer so it's easier to measure for degenerate gamblers.

This also goes for football. The UCL knock-out stage is the best time to bet.

For game 1, I'll probably stick to teasers, tbh, should have a lot of close games..only straight bets I'm leaning towards are Cavs, Hawks and Warriors..

Pelicans will be happy to just be in the playoffs in game 1 IMO..

Nets aren't good, Hawks should easily win, too..

Cleveland is tough, because I actually have a rule not to bet against Boston anymore(I'm 0-6 this year when I bet against them)..
