......a frosh sprinter out of Baylor a school known for 400m sprinters ran a sub 10.00 at the NCAA's. Bummer it was with 2.2 wind which is just above the allowable 2.0. He's already ran another sub10.00 also windy and a legal 10.01*** which is a junior record (under 20). He appears to be a lock to win the first NCAA 100m for Baylor in the schools history. You'd think a school with the 400m prowess they've shown would also had some short sprinters.....nope!

Jenna Prandini a white sprinter out of Oregon was favored to win the female 100 but she's not looking so hot right now. It's been ages since a white sprinter man or woman has won an NCAA 100/200.....ages!!!!!!!!!!!

***NFLers Trindon Holliday was a 10.00 guy, Jacoby Ford and Jeff Demps 10.01.

Bromell won the NCAA in a legal 9.97 with is the fastest time ever ran by a teenager. Sub 10.00 not all that common for NCAA sprinters.

Prandini took 4th. She did win the loing jump.
