We are basketball purists united in elation at the purest of basketball.
Can't believe they did it again. After all the heartbreak, losses and endless whining/doubting from their fickle fanbase, yet the San Antonio Spurs are back on top of the NBA mountain. Can't believe they got through Durant and James to get there to. Amazing feeling, man...............
Could we waive frenchie and get Lebron? Imagine the possibilities...
Guys, I'm sleepwalking through my workday right now. So far nobody made the mistake assigning anything of importance to me. I just want to get home, watch Germany destroy Poortugal and than rewatch Game 5.
This is the second time I went through this. First Bayern with the UCL-loss in Munich redeeming themselves in London a year later, now the Spurs. I aged about 20 years since may 2012...
Pop should do a Pat Riley and guarantee another one next year! Would make for an awesome ending to the Championship DVD!
Duncan is so awesome. Best player on the team throughout the playoffs and was easily the most consistent player on the team.
Best championship ever.
For 6 long years, few veterans want to sign with the Spurs. They all opted for other contenders.
This year Granger, Butler, Kirilenko and Odom all signed for other teams. The Spurs were thought to be over the hill.
The only players the Spurs were able to sign in free agency were players that were waived by teams, Diaw, Mills, Danny Green. Bellinelli was likely the only player this team could get in free agency.
This Spurs team has been 3 years in the making. Ever since they got Leonard and Diaw, this team finally had a chance.
I love it!!!!! Gospursgo
Go Spurs Go!!! Not only did the Spurs win, but it felt great getting revenge!!
same here ...same here (Bayern Munich fan as well btw)
Dont know if posted...
I have to say that 6 definitely lessened my enjoyment of this postseason, because every time there was a big moment, every time we won a game or a series, I kept thinking "there's no point in rejoicing yet, if it finishes like last year". I definitely got excited a bit at times, but overall I felt a bit numb... until I saw Lebron and Wade on the bench in the waning minutes of Game 5 and realized that there wasn't going to be a comeback this time. As a fan, this le is really like refueling after all the disappointments, being finally ready to be really excited again.
Doesn't seem real still, so happy right now
yup. the game was a in blur. felt like it was over in 20 mins.
this is the best
A man with good taste in both Basketball and Football.

Redemption Tour accomplished!
Drive for Five complete!
Kampai sa tagumpay! Thank you San Antonio Spurs!
