wtf?
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources...163704451.htmlSan Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili has a stress fracture in his right leg and is unlikely to represent Argentina in the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain this summer, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Ginobili, 36, was diagnosed with the early stages of a stress fracture in his exit physical with the Spurs. It's an injury that appears to have developed late in San Antonio's championship season, sources told Yahoo Sports.
Our guys really toughened up for #5.
wtf?
CIA POP
And fact check for Woj required
Blessing in disguise. Allows his body to rest while he rehabs
Could be a blessing in disguise.
Hey Agent, any info on this?
Just read the article and Woj stated it wasn't too bad of an injury. It takes 2 month's for recovery and he should be ready by the time training camp starts. Its kind of a blessing in disguise this injury. Manu gets to rest this summer and not play in these intl games risking further injury and wear tear on his body.
Blessure in disguise
CIA Pop move?
Exactly...
Good that we're all on the same page here.
"Aww yeah Manu gets to rest" vs "Aww no Manu you're injured and can't represent ARG"
Wait a minute.
The Spurs just destroyed LeBron and the two-time defending NBA champs with critical contributions from a midget with a torn rotator cuff and a TOSB with a broken leg?
great news TBH. I wonder how the haters will spin this tho
OK. I laughed.
Maybe Pop talked to Manu that he really doesn't want him to play in the summer after knowing Mills will miss 7 months.
This is excellent news. That selfish bag would've worn himself into an even worse injury had he been cleared to play in the summer. Now, he's forced to give this lingering injury that comes at the heels of a championship some much needed rest.
The ideal, of course, would've been a scenario where we win a championship without Manu injuring himself and he decides not to play summer ball, but if an injury is what it takes for him to abstain from playing for Argentina then I'll take it. Manu's too selfish for that "ideal" scenario to be plausible, so this is the next best thing.
What the does that even mean? Speak English.
I'm not sure I can handle any more Spurs news like this.
