At least CR can adjust his game
Yep.
But starting Arbeloa and Coentrao...
and just like that, from explosive winger style and dynamic play we introduce to you Tiki-taka without a proper Box to box DM.4 PLAYERS PLAYING OUT of Position and also are forced to adapt to different style they are used to
To make things more absurd players who played in those positions naturally are going to have their careers destroyed

Good idea of fail ?
According to Spanish sports daily, AS, Florentino recently revealed his latest idea to the senior members of the club, stating that his desire was to reduce the teams in ‘La Fábrica”
“The objective is to reduce the teams in the youth system. We are studying the possibility of making Castilla and Madrid C the same team and reducing the amount of Juvenil teams to just one.”
Florentino’s argument is that by reducing the amount of teams, the best players will be on the remaining teams, making them stronger in each category.
However, the is reason to doubt the success of such an operation, as many youth players that were deemed to be inferior have gone on to accomplish great things such as; Juan Mata, Alvaro Negredo, Roberto Soldado and Diego Lopez, while players like Raul, Guti, Iker Casillas, Jese and Dani Carvajal have spent all or part of their careers in the Real Madrid youth system, growing through each category.
The report goes on to add that the juvenil category encompasses players from 16 to 19 years of age and having more teams is beneficial in allowing more fluctuation and growth with the players, while the entire cost of the youth system is roughly €20 million, which is a small price to pay for a team that has brought in revenue of €540 million this past year alone.
It remains to be seen if Florentino’s plans come to fruition and the reaction from the Real Madrid fans, who are already unenthusiastic about the president’s handling of players following the sale of Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso, combined with two consecutive La Liga losses to start off the season.
Maybe Flo will be right. It will shorten the academy roster but it will make the teams compact and more compe ive. Youth systems are already being overrated all across European football ever since Barcelona hit the jackpot with their lineup. It works with Barcelona. Arsenal has pride in their youth system while United has a youth system and look where both teams stand in terms of medals count.
After all, his biggest mistakes are with the first team.
I agree except that youth systems are not overrated everywhere in Europe; just look at French clubs
Obviously his biggest mistakes are wit the 1st team
I'll leave that Floflo quote here:
"I do not know how James plays. But he had a great World Cup & we wanted him here."
And why would you care about that with youth teams? What you want out of youth teams is the chance to develop as many kids as you can.
Youth development in Madrid doesn't make a whole lot of sense, tbh... they love to go with the flavor of the month in coaching, players and system, so it makes no sense to try to build anything long term from the youth divisions like Barça did.
Florentino might have a few problems, but youth development isn't one.
Pre Floflo RM developed a lot of players from within
that got ass jet setter
