    Brazil scored on Germany.
True but by then I had already started watching NBA Summer League games. You also should score when down 7 goals and the best defender was subbed out - Ghana actually gave Germany a scare and Algeria was in the game till the last minute. During the game the commentators even forgot about the late Algeria goal.

    Um translate

"President Marin said he didn't want any strangers in the dressing room," Cafu told ESPN. "I told him I'm no stranger. I was only there to embrace the boys, to give them some comfort. I didn't want to talk about anything else. I was only there because the boys needed support, that's why I came to the dressing room."

Cafu added: "I was surprised that I was practically expelled from the dressing room. Humbly, I left the changing room. I endured a similar thing back in 1998 and I know what a World Cup defeat feels like. I knew the boys needed some attention and needed to be comforted at that moment. I wasn't there for self promotion, I don't need this kind of thing. I went to give a hug to Felipao and [Carlos Alberto] Parreira."

If they go with the brazilian route, I'd say e. The only thing that's holding him down is the fact that he comes from the "gaucho" coaching school, the same school that produced Scolari and Mano Menezes. He is a smart coach (he coached Corinthians during those great years, when they won Libertadores and FIFA World Championship beating Chelsea in the Final), but he is a defensive minded coach. Not sure if they wanna go to that route again.

Personally, I would love to see a "gringo" coaching Brazil. I think the talent available among brazilian coaches is below average to say it nicely. It's probably just as bad as the talent among centre-forwards.

It has pros and cons. Not excited, but not mad.

Journalists say it's a done deal, but it could also be a smokescreen. We'll see on Tuesday.
