Yeah Cormier got mad gassed in the championship rounds. Bummer, but kinda predictable.
DC fought hard but you could see he was exhausted after the 3rd round. With better cardio he could've won this fight. My respect still goes out to him and Bones though.
Not the fight people wanted but Jones is the best in the world and showed it again.. I thought DC had it going there in round 2 but Jones just dug deep.. Pressing him on the fence and you could see with those 2 TD's in the 4th he had broken DC mentally..
Jones 3/5 on TD's to DC 1/8..

A big problem all of Jones opponents have is the man gets better and stronger as the fight goes on.. Jon digs deeper than anyone I have ever seen in this sport..
I loved it too but people will about it.. Overall card was bad...

Well, I wasn't laughing at you, just at the fact that we saw the fights going so differently.
The one that really surprised me was Jury. I expected more from him. Cerrone is just in another class right now.
What impressed me was Jones' ability to eat Cormier's many punches and still keep his focus. I can't imagine many fighters surviving these first 3 rounds against a great Cormier, and THEN taking over the fight like he did. I don't know how long he'll keep that chin but right now, he's incredible.
I'm almost as excited about the Gus vs Johnson fight. That LHW division looks most impressive right now. Can't wait.
Sucks Gustafson Jones part II is so far away. Only match up I can't say Bones is a strong favorite in. , he should've lost the first match.

I wouldn't take AJ lightly in that fight against Gus. I am most like picking AJ in that fight, unless something drastically changes.
As for the Jones fight, definitely had his chin tested with all those uppercuts from Cormier. And those TDs in the 4th round, wow, just momentum shifter. Also Cormier, while finally getting that huge TD/slam; he wasted all the round trying to achieve it; should have used the energy on striking...
Oh and I guess Bones watched some DX highlight footage prior to the fight, lol.
Oh yea, you can't say otherwise so you have to say something against DC.
