ben tate signed with cleveland?
Like so many other NFL running backs this guy came out of a small school....Towson (Dave Meggett), there he was a monster. At 5-10 225 pounds he's a load, a fast, quick and agile one. I do expect him to beat out Ben Tate before the season is over. So when they start talking about him, you heard him mentioned here first.
The Browns have had a lot of quality backs going way back to the great Marion Mottley, I think they now have another one.
He's listed on the roster.
Barring injury, Tate has the starting job locked up.
Worthless "look at me I know of an obscure player" thread
The dumb did bring up an interesting point..."The Obscure NFL Player".
How about Kurt Warner as the perfect example of a guy who was totally obscure to everyone.
Today it's really hard for any player to sneak by for all the obvious reasons. Look at the Bills Fred Jackson out of tiny Coe College. I have no idea where that is. How about Jets receiver Saalin Hakim out of Tarleton State? While he's not "obscure" anymore....Danny Woodhead...out of Chadron State.
Obviously dumb is wrong ( as usual) about Terrance West, he wouldn't qualify as "obscure". He has been talked about a lot on other boards, he is no mystery. Obviously the dumb has never heard of him.
Obscure...hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

If I really wanted to impress with..."obscure"...footballer.....
Roger Sayers the older brother of Gale Sayers, who was a world class sprinter. Still holds a ton of football records at the U of Omaha.
Up above I mentioned running backs coming out of small schools.

You mean Peyton Hillis?
Hahahahaha!!!!!!
I once posted a list of every sub 9.5/10.30 sprinter that ever played in the NFL, what school they attended, what pro teams they played for. HUGE....list. Guy comes on...."you spelled (forgot) wrong"....hahaha~!!!
It's as if..."ok ok what did he do wrong, there's something...yippee!!!!!!!!!"
Yep, Peyton. Patrick....sheesh~~~~~~~
Dude, he just pointed out it was Peyton. Chill
When a guy is talking Marion Mottley, Bobby Mitc , common sense tels us they also know Peyton Hillis.
Pablo Rivers and Ralph Mathews are gonna lead the Chargers to victory.
When do you think Jeremy Football starts?
I have zero idea what you're talking about, a 6th grade education ya understand.
You probably shouldn't have dropped out.
My pa left us when I was just a kid, ma was a drunk. At 11 I had to get a job being the oldest. Somebody had to feed the drunk and my 8 brothers and sisters, no time for proper schooling.
Tonight is the night I expect to see West break loose. He is the real deal.
breakin loose!
ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM
If he hadn't of gotten dinged up I do think he would have shown something, it's real obvious he has.."it".
