when I mentioned it, I forgot about the huge amount of money a school has to fork out to leave, so it's a moot point.

But I guarantee when that movie comes out about the horn/arky game of '69(?) that a lot of razorback fans will reminisce of how good they had it in the SWC and how much of an easier path to a le shot they'd now have had they stayed.

There is no exit fee in the SEC. Schools don't want to leave the best conference in collegiate athletics.

Unless I'm mistaken, they've been in 3 conference le games and they have an overall losing record in SEC play.

If you have a good team, the road to the le is currently easier through any of the other 4 power conferences.

but cycles do come and go. It could be that in 5 years the SEC is back down to what it was 10 years ago when undefeated Auburn got left out of the le game.
