It's been approximately 462 minutes since it happened . . . and, honestly, it hurts. It's a pain deep in the soul that I probably won't ever shake. To be that close to such a great moment -- only to see it slip through the fingers -- is still devastating. Somehow, it seems to have hurt more and more as the summer progressed as the realization set in regarding what exactly was at stake.

no doubt its gotta be pretty painful to lose in the 2nd half of extra time. But it's probably better to lose that way than lose in penalties IMO

He came back for one post after the Spurs won it all. You even posted in it . it was that thread benefactor got banned for calling timvp a frontrunning got and you posted about wanting forum skins.

If you meant timvp never came back permanently, then gotcha.

ers, when you have something called a peloton, you know it's boss. The strategy, the weather (heat near the coast and rain and cold in the mountains), the wipeouts and accidents, the scenary, going up a mountain with thousands of weirdos screaming at the riders face, all of that is great!

You will never forget this lose. That's just how high the stakes were. Just shocking how Germany has beaten Argentina in every manner possible
    - Shootout
    - Blowout
    - Goal in Final 7 minutes
    - Kept both your nations GOAT from les

If not for Germany, Argentina could be staring at 4 or 5 World Cup crowns. But keep your head up because nothing lasts forever and eventually Argentina will upset Germany. And that feeling will be almost as good as winning today

You were so ing ready to bump my about the midget never winning a WC... jokes on you FAP

James or Robben deserved the Golden Ball imo. Anyway, it's a meaningless Adidas sponsored trophy for the adidas pet midget so he doesn't go home empty-handed

    lol Dat drought
    lol Haven't rung since 93
lol thinking the defense was weak
    lol celebrating Brazil's failure
    lol less trophies than Uruguay
lol celebrating runner up at 9 de Julio
    lol Higuain
    lol Aguero
    lol Palacio
lol Romero only mistake in the tournament not opening his arms on the goal in the Final

With that said, Messi deserved to ring for all what he means to football. But the demons he has to exorcise are deep inside in the Argie DNA and it's a tough customer even for him tbh
I hated to see the suffering from the players that were inches from glory, especially Mascherano and dat Defense

Uruguay also has 2 Olympics, from the time FIFA officially recognized the Olympic champion as WC too. Hence the 4 stars.

We already beat Germany in a WC Final, I know exactly how that feels.

I'm actually upbeat about this team, they finally have a couple of young defenders to build on, what's been our achilles the last decade or so. The issue though is that you gotta pick a solid coach too if Sabella steps down. No more Maradroga or Batista, tbh...

The next one should be either Simeone or Martino.

Simeone would be a beast tbh. But he already said that he's too young to take over the NT. That's something he'd cherish doing at a future stage

ElNono it was a tough loss, bruh. You have been the classiest of the Argentine fans...tough loss! But at least they didn't give up 7 goals Brazilol! Also, Sportstudi has been the classiest of the Kraut supporters. Props to his side winning its 4th star.
