    Bayern losing is always a good thing - even when it is in a meaningless game against a City side that seems as terrified of the CL as Matt Bonner is of the playoffs.

    bad luck at the WC excuse. Germany was just deeper. Maybe the best 11 vs 11 was almost equal(imo edge to Germany), but Germany was just a much deeper team. Once Agüero was unhealthy, who was going to replace him? higuain isn't dependable enough. Reus and Khedira go down for Germany and they have people who are competent enough to replace them.

    It wasn't just Aguero, It was Higuain and Di Maria too. 3/4 of Argentina's attack was injured.
