Not trying to make excuses for Boateng, but that could have happened to any defender in the world. He is obviously at a disadvantage from the start because he has to move sideways and/or backwards - plus the best player in the world is coming for him.
Incredible performance from Messi. It wasn't just the goals (though they were very much needed today), it was feeling and seeing that he can always create a goal-scoring opportunity for himself or others out of pretty much thin air.
As great as Neuer was, Suarez has to score that first goal. Props to Bayern for a good 25-minute span in the second half, but that third goal should be the proverbial nail in the coffin.
