    I don't think Malone is a good comparison, though, I'm not sure if there is an appropriate comparison for Kershaw..

    Malone was a great player, top 3 at his peak, but Kershaw just had a historic regular season and is unanimously considered as the best player in baseball, tbh..Malone was never considered the greatest player in the sport or considered well above his peers..

    The best comparison off the top of my head is in his own sport, ARod, IMO..
