She is (was) a point guard, right? PGs usually have the highest BBall IQ in the team, the best court vision. Plus add the attention to details wich only females have. The question is if she can make it work. Most people here are thinking the locker room is kinda like the in guetto corner.
Being toug isn't the key to be a great coach or the nigs would be the best coaches of the league. Becky Hammon can be a good coach, SJax, Metta World Peace or Kevin Garnett never will be able to be coaches. Simply because they are dumb and don't have any skills to Interact with other people. There are a lot of women as CEOs in bluechip corporations, but few nigs and rednecks. CEOs are people who have to Interact with high skilled, well trained people, take serious decisions and being tough probably won't make it work. Get out of your caves, peasants.

Phil Jackson used to frequently refer to Pop and the entire Spurs coaching staff as "The Simulator Crew" because none of them had played in the NBA.
Point being that there are always folks who will find a way to discredit someone else's credentials and/or abilities. The tendency to do that sort of thing makes the person saying it a small person; it does not reflect whatsoever on the person they are trying to discredit.
Either Hammon will make it or she won't. if she does, it will likely not be solely because the Spurs' organization is the only one in the NBA in which she could be successful. If she doesn't, it will likely not be solely for lack of NBA playing experience, nor her lack of a penis.
